Acceptable Forms of Payment

For any transaction taking place at a PennDOT Driver License Center, checks or money orders made payable to PennDOT are the only acceptable forms.

If you are coming to our Riverfront Office Center location in Harrisburg, cash, check and money orders are the only acceptable forms of payment. Please make checks or money orders payable to PennDOT.

Online transactions may be paid for using either a credit card or a debit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are the only forms of credit or debit cards accepted online.

Any applications requiring a fee and being sent through the mail to PennDOT, must have a check or money order accompanying them. Please have the check or money order made payable to PennDOT.
